Mesozoic (n) - the Mesozoic era, approximately 252-66 million years ago, encompasses the the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, or the age of the dinosaurs
Nearly four years in the making, the mesozoic print is inspired by my childhood fascination with dinosaurs. I have meticulously drawn the skeletons of all my favourites: brachiosaurus, diplodocus, ankylosaurus, tricerotops, spinosaurus and stegosaurus. The iconic velociraptor and T-Rex are featured too, and an iguanadon, one of the first dinosaurs ever discovered in 1822. Plus I've included a plesiosaur and a pterosaur even though these aren't technically dinosaurs, the print (or my childhood plastic dinosaur collection) wouldn't be the same without them.
Inspired by naturalists of days gone by, Bison Bindery was founded to encourage the timeless craft of putting pen to paper, and to provide stationery for all those fascinated by the world around them. Bison Bindery designs celebrate flora and fauna from around the world, on products that aim to preserve the environment for generations to come.
Bison Bindery notebooks are designed and made in the UK from sustainable materials. The cover design has been hand-painted in watercolour by artist Maddie Chambers from her studio on the edge of the South Downs.

Our Lined Journals are A5 in size and are chunkier than our plain notebooks, with 76 lined pages, but are still lightweight and perfect for field notes on the go.
