Colony (n) - the collective noun for a group of Anteaters
This print features all four species of anteater: the giant anteater, silky anteater and both species of tamandua. They are all native to southern and central America, and like the name suggests subsist on a diet of ants and termites, which means they have adapted to have very long tongues and no teeth!
Inspired by naturalists of days gone by, Bison Bindery was founded to encourage the timeless craft of putting pen to paper, and to provide stationery for all those fascinated by the world around them. Bison Bindery designs celebrate flora and fauna from around the world, on products that aim to preserve the environment for generations to come.
Bison Bindery greetings cards are designed and made in the UK from sustainable materials. The cover design has been hand-painted in watercolour by artist Maddie Chambers from her studio on the edge of the South Downs.
